How to Mix DioxiRinse

Instructions for Mixing 32oz Size

  1. Dispense three* FULL pumps of Part A into a cup.
  2. Dispense three* FULL pumps of Part B into the same cup
  3. Let sit for about 30 seconds
  4. Rinse mouth with mixture and gargle to the back of your throat for 15 – 30 seconds

Instructions for Mixing 6oz Travel Size

  1. Dispense 5ml* of Part A into one measuring cup
  2. Dispense 5ml* of Part B into the other measuring cup**
  3. Pour one cup into the other and let sit for about 30 seconds
  4. Rinse mouth with mixture and gargle to the back of your throat for 15 – 30 seconds

*It doesn’t matter how much of each part you use, as long as the two parts are equal. Be sure to prime the pumps before first use.

**Using two different cups when dispensing the travel size is recommend to simplify equal dispensing (i.e., if one cup is used instead of two, it is hard to get the two parts equal). Two measuring cups are supplied for this reason.

Important Notes:

Once the two parts are mixed, the concentration of DioxiCare (chlorine dioxide) will continue to increase for about 10 minutes, then gradually decreases over time (in an open container). In a closed container, the chlorine dioxide will stay constant for up to 5 days.

The solution will change color as the DioxiCare concentration changes; starting out blue and gradually changing to yellow and then no color once the chlorine dioxide has fully dissipated.

As the concentration increases, after about a minute, the nice mint flavor will start to get neutralized by the chlorine dioxide (the same way it neutralizes the odor in your mouth).
