Antonie van Leeuwenhoek

What Antonie van Leeuwenhoek, the 17th-century father of microbiology, really said was an understated truth: “The number of these animalcules in the scurf of a man’s teeth are so many, that I believe they exceed the number of men in a kingdom.” By animalcules, he means microbes, like gram-negative bacteria. By scurf, he means biofilm. Biofilm and gram-negative bacteria are the main culprits of bad breath.

Everyone has bad breath from time to time. Some cases are chronic. About 10% of cases are due to disease requiring medical care. For most of us, there is a remedy.

Bad breath can usually be improved by proper dental care. This includes tooth brushing, mouth rinsing, gargling, using a proxy brush between teeth, oral irrigation, and flossing. What you brush and rinse with can make a difference. Regular toothpaste and mouthwash may help a little, but not like our two powerhouse products: DioxiRinse Mouthwash and DioxiBrite Toothpaste

DioxiRinse Mouthwash

Both use DioxiCare - ACTIVE chlorine dioxide. Both oxidize the worst bad breath. Both taste great. Both kill bacteria and remove biofilm responsible for bad breath.

This chart demonstrates how DioxiRinse dramatically reduces sulfur gases constituting bad breath.

Compare the second column to the first. After rinsing with DioxiRinse there is no detectable odor.

We suggest using DioxiRinse as a pre-cleaner before brushing. After brushing with DioxiBrite Toothpaste (minimum 2 minutes), use DioxiRinse to clean your toothbrush as well. Don’t forget to brush the back of your teeth where plaque, a biofilm, accumulates.

The Rinse is fantastic at cleaning orthodontic appliances. Give these appliances a good soak!

Many of our customers dip their floss picks and proxy brushes into DioxiRinse to enhance those cleaning methods. We also recommend gargling with DioxiRinse, twice a day, to coat the back of the throat and tongue.

If you have never tried Frontier products, please join our many satisfied customers achieving a clean mouth and fresh breath the DioxiCare way!
